PANSA knows how important accurate and on time flight plan processing is for todays air navigation services.<\/p>

These days air traffic management systems are required to operate with data from multiple sources both civil and military. Additionally all these data must be processed without delay or error. To meet those criteria PANSA created a system called TRAFFIC\u00a0 – Track Advisor for Flight Information Concerns. Its purpose is to deliver to the ATM system information derived from flight plans, with its subsequent changes and complementary messages, which is verified based on operational and legal requirements, as well as syntactical and semantical ones.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

This process is carried out both in pre-tactical and tactical phases of flight plan processing. Everyday TRAFFIC receives thousands of ATM messages based on which overview of planned operation is created. Thanks to this database, that contains all vital information concerning flights in FIR Warsaw, the safety of our operations is enhanced. In case of interruption in data transmission or the ATM system failure we are capable of restoring all lost flight plans in a matter of minutes. This feature is also very useful during regular scheduled maintenance of ATM system.<\/p>

In cases where an operator\u2019s action is required TRAFFIC\u2019s intuitive interface allows them to accomplish their task swiftly. Flights that pass the automatic part of verification are sent automatically to the ATM system. For others, TRAFFIC will highlight where the manual processing is needed in a clear and precise manner.<\/p>

Where it is possible, data from external sources is incorporated in the background, without any impact from the user. A perfect example od this is the integration of data from PANSA\u2019s Common Airspace Tool (CAT).<\/p>

Another important feature of TRAFFIC is its flight trajectory validation, according to EAD database and daily AUP\/UUP. This task is performed for all flights, including OAT and VFR.<\/p>

Whenever problem is detected with particular flight, we can not only inform the operator or pilot about it, but also advise our air traffic controllers ahead of time, to make it easier for them to prepare for it accordingly, if no other action had been taken prior to take off.<\/p>

The newest feature of TRAFFIC also lets operator view the effect of this validation in a 4D graphic visualization.<\/p>

Together with CAT, Pandora and PANSA UTM, TRAFFIC creates an innovative and adaptable environment for supporting PANSA operational personnel, that is invaluable in their day activities.<\/p>
