\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Aerial work refers to aerial operations in which an aircraft is used for specialized services as such as agriculture, construction, photography, surveying, observation, inspection, patrol, search and rescue or aerial advertising.<\/p>

Operations related to aerial works must be reported to the Polish Air Navigation Agency for coordination with the relevant ATS service at a minimum of 5 working days in advance, and in cases of flights involving coordination with several ATS authorities at a minimum of 7 working days.<\/p>

Flights in controlled airspace and those flights in uncontrolled airspace that, due to the nature of aerial work, require priority or arrangements with other users of flexible airspace structures are subject to coordination.<\/p>

Search and rescue, surveillance and patrol flights are not subject to notification. Such flights must be carried out in accordance with the regulations for the relevant class of space.<\/p>

The notification should include, in particular, information such as:<\/p>

  • type of aerial work;<\/li>
  • the type and registration of the aircraft;<\/li>
  • the date and time of the works;<\/li>
  • geographical coordinates of the flights work area\/route in WGS-84 system and DMS format (degrees,minutes,seconds) and a map of these areas\/routes;<\/li>
  • flight altitude given in ft AMSL or FL, as appropriate;<\/li>
  • if relevent, a copy of city overfly permit issued by mayor(president) of the city in \u00a0case of flights infringing the airspace over cities with a population of more than 25,000 (see AIP ENR 5.1);<\/li>
  • a confirmation with the administrator of a given restricted area (R) for flights violating the space of R areas designated over national parks or other facilities;<\/li>
  • a confirmation with the administrator of the facility protected by area P<\/li><\/ul>

    Flight operations in ATZ and MCTR\/MTMA must be prior coordinated with the airports competent autohority or with the main user of the airport in question.<\/p>

    Flights in restricted areas (R), prohibited areas (P), dangerous areas (D): see AIP Poland ENR 5.1<\/p>

    Flights in the ADIZ (air defense identification zone): see AIP Poland ENR 5.2.2.<\/p>

    In planning of aerial works, the operator\/flight organizer shall take into account the availability of airspace (check AUP\/UUP) and actual activity of flexible airspace elements (in AMC Poland). The operator\/organizer is responsible for compliance with regulations and for having all relevant documents to perform aerial works.<\/p>

    Additional information on flights in areas P, R, D<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
    \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

    Besides conditions specified in AIP Poland ENR 5 pt.5, the flights of manned aircraft with propulsion in zones P, R, D are obliged to file a FPL and maintain two-way radio communication with the territorially competent ATS unit.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    • In case of flights over cities with a population of more than 25,000 (see ENR 5.1), an adequate information confirming the fact that the mayor (president) of the city in question has issued a permission for such flight must be included in field 18 of the FPL:<\/li><\/ul>

      \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 RMK\/ (insert name of city) city overfly permit no. (letter reference);<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>

      \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Note: The above mentioned rule does not apply to flights conducting a published approach or departure procedures for airports and airstrips located inside these zones.<\/p>

      • In case of flights in restricted areas (R) designated over National Parks, an adequate information confirming the fact of having arrangements with the R area administrator must be included in field 18 of the FPL:<\/li><\/ul>

        \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 RMK\/Flight in (specify area designator) approved by the area administrator;<\/strong><\/p>

        \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Note: The above mentioned rule does not apply to flights conducting a published approach or departure procedures for airports and airstrips located inside these zones, as well as to\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 flights in an unpowered aircraft – in case of flights in R areas over National Parks.<\/p>

        • In case of flights in prohibited areas (P), it is mandatory to include in field 18 of the FPL information confirming the fact that P area administrator has issued and entry\/overfly approval:<\/li><\/ul>
